Web & Graphic Designer Branding Photo Session
A branding session with two adorable sisters who are besties and business partners? Um, yes, please! 🙋🏼♀️ So I recently had the privilege of shooting just that at my brand session for Caffeinated Duo Design, a small business run by two creative sisters, Alex and Taylor, who help businesses level up with custom branding, logo design, websites, and social media marketing. Their passion is to beautify brands and bring their clients ideas to life with a unique blend of approachability and creativity, all with a fresh cup of coffee in their hands. 😉 They take the stress and guesswork out of branding, and make it a fun process for their clients. So this session. Definitely one of my favorites! We shot it at their super cute home…BUT they didn’t want it to look like home. They were going for a clean, modern studio vibe. So we achieved that by rearranging some furniture and styling the space to fit that minimal studio look. This came with a few challenges because it was a small space and I needed flash to supplement the natural light. But with some ingenuity and skillful shooting, we were able to capture that exact studio look in their photos. And I think we only tripped on my flash stand legs like twice, so success. 😆 iykyk.
We captured a mix of professional and lifestyle headshots, working shots, stills and flat lays, incorporating their brand’s western elements and love/dependance on coffee in many of them. They needed a lot of “filler” images to use on their website and client guides so I shot photos with this in mind. Since their brand vibe includes fun and western elements, we wrapped up the day with some outdoor lifestyle shots. These really rounded out their gallery and gave them more image options to show off their sisterly bond and trademark western style. And could they BE any cuter? Seriously.
Alex and Taylor, it was such a privilege (and so much fun!) to shoot brand photos of your creative small business. You’ve already built an amazing reputation with your clients and you have such a fun and unique brand story. I am so thankful you trusted me to capture these meaningful images that tell it.
