OKLAHOMA PROFESSIONAL FAMILY + SENIOR PHOTOGRPAHER
This headshot session was so fun! This was my second time shooting a session with Kolbi (the first was at my spring mini session with him and his brother HERE). We went to a couple of locations in downtown OKC including the Skydance Bridge at Scissortail Park and a parking garage just north of downtown.
DOWNTOWN OKC HEADSHOT SESSION
I haven’t done any photoshoots at either place before this, so I was really excited to finally have one! We ended up with a beautiful Oklahoma summer evening and had gorgeous golden light for the whole shoot. Score! I don’t know which spot was my favorite because the bridge is so unique and has such great leading lines for pics….but the garage rooftop with the OKC skyline behind is pretty stinking amazing. I can’t wait to do more sessions at both spots!
And of course the pictures! I LOVE how they turned out! Kolbi is always so put together and stylish and he nails that model face EVERY. TIME. It was so easy to get some great headshots for his portfolio. Of course, I couldn’t limit my composing to headshots only, not at those great locations! I love the vertical full-length shot of him in the middle of the Skydance Bridge. And I mean, handstands on a parking garage rooftop...yes please!
Kolbi’s brother and mom were along and I even managed to snap a few pro shots of his brother’s car for him. We couldn’t waste that great light and location. They are such a great family and I’m so happy I have gotten to work with them twice already. Hope you enjoy the photos!
Favorite moment: When I FINALLY cracked Kolbi’s model face and got a genuine smile. (And that took a while friends...he is committed)
