OKLAHOMA PROFESSIONAL FAMILY + COUPLES PHOTOGRPAHER
This was such a special photo session. I feel like I say that about all of them...but I mean it every time! Amber and Justin allowed me to capture some photos of them and their officially blended family on their wedding day. I’m calling this a family session plus. :) The evening began with a simple ceremony to make it all official, and then we had a field day (pun definitely intended) taking all these BEAUTIFUL photos at the OK Flower Farm, a newly opened flower field in Pocasset, Oklahoma. Besides taking some family shots, I was able to take some oh so romantical couples pictures in the flowers. Heart eyes everywhere!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more on this special day. We were blessed with a beautiful June evening with all that golden sunset light in a gorgeous field of flowers with an amazing family. Hello photographer’s dream!
We arrived at the flower farm about an hour and a half before sunset, right when the sun was giving off that warm delicious glow that it does so well at golden hour. The Oklahoma breeze was blowing, but just the right amount. It had been such a hot day but the temperature dropped just enough that we were comfortable. It was perfect.
I snagged some family photos in front of the sunflowers, with zinnias (love them so much) in front of them. We took entire group photos as well as dad and daughters/mom and daughters shots. After that, I got to capture some wonderful shots of the happy couple in the grassy area and in the middle of all those flowers. You will see as you look through the pictures just how beautifully everything came together.
So another super cool thing, I graduated high school with Amber. Actually we were together all the way through school, K-12. We were great buddies growing up, and it was so nice to reconnect and to be a part of her special day and tell the story of her and Justin and their three girls. And I’m not just saying this because I’m biased...they were some of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. Everyone in this family is gorgeous, inside and out. Thank you Semler family for letting me in on your special day!
Favorite moment: Justin’s expression on his face when they told me they wanted a shot of all 3 girls kissing his head. He was such a good sport and those photos are adorable!
