OKLAHOMA CITY SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

WOW. Just wow. That’s all I can think to say to start this blog post. This senior session is one of my favorite ones I’ve ever had the privilege to shoot! You will see what I mean when you check out Montana’s GORGEOUS gallery.

MARTIN NATURE PARK + LAKE HEFNER OKLAHOMA CITY GIRL SENIOR SESSION

Montana did a great job of planning her session date well in advance, so when the week came and it was raining for days, we were worried we would have to reschedule. But the rain broke just in time for a perfect fall evening to take her photos!

This girl knew she wanted a boho country look for her senior photos and she totally nailed it with her thoughtful outfit and accessory choices. She even brought a bouquet of fresh flowers (always say yes to baby’s breath) which put these images over the top!

When we discussed locations and I gave her a few options around Oklahoma City, she knew Martin Nature Park would be a perfect backdrop for the style of photos she wanted, and she was so right. And then when she told me she also would like some photos in the water in a white dress I was like, swoon, 100 times yes girl! So we went over to the west side of Lake Hefner to take some at sunset and the results were absolutely beautiful!!!

I also can’t fail to mention that not only is Montana one of the most beautiful girls on the outside, she is just as sweet and beautiful inside. This girl is rocking it and is actually graduating early this December and is already OU bound. Boomer Sooner! She brought her lovely parents along for the shoot and I even got to take a few shots of all of them together. I loved getting to know this awesome family!

Thank you Montana for letting me take your senior photos! You are a doll!

Favorite moment: At the very end of the session when the full moon was out right above the lake and I snapped one spontaneous final image that turned out to be so amazing! You’ll see it below.

Bonus memorable moment: Waiting on a totally oblivious and chatty fisherman at Lake Hefner who reeled in his fishing line in between us, EXACTLY as the sun was setting and almost disrupted the entire photo opp. And then would not stop talking to us and making us guess riddles as we were trying to run away from him!
