I’ve been dreaming of shooting senior photos on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman—and I finally got the chance! Rinnah’s winter cap and gown session was everything I hoped for and more. This session added such a special touch to her senior year photo journey.

If you’ve seen my work lately, you’ve probably noticed Rinnah’s gorgeous face on my website and Instagram. She’s my spokesmodel this year, and we’ve been doing seasonal senior photo sessions leading up to a big spring finale. (I can’t wait for you to see that one too!)

We had hoped for snow to really bring out the winter vibes in her session, but the weather didn’t cooperate—of course it snowed while I was out of town on vacation. (Classic!) Still, her session in late winter gave us all the dreamy feels we wanted.

OU Campus + Legacy Park = The Perfect Backdrop

We chose the OU campus in Norman for its beautiful architecture and classic college vibes—perfect for graduation photos. We also explored Legacy Park nearby, which I’d driven past many times but never actually walked through until this session. It was the perfect mix of natural and urban for her senior pictures.

Rinnah’s white fuzzy sweater gave her outfit a soft wintery vibe, and paired with her graduation gown, it made for some stunning cap and gown portraits.

Why I Love Senior Sessions at a College Campus

Senior sessions on a college campus like OU always have this extra layer of meaning. It’s not just about pretty photos—it’s about celebrating a huge milestone and the growth that’s happened over the years. And Rinnah embodies that so well. She is truly one of the sweetest, kindest, most joyful people I’ve ever worked with, and I’m so thankful she trusted me to document this moment.

We laughed nonstop during her session (like always), and I walked away with so many favorites.

Favorite Moment from This OU Senior Session

There was this one moment—Rinnah was casually tucking her hair behind her ear, and the light hit just right. I clicked the shutter and knew it was the shot. Natural, genuine, and totally her.
