This beautiful family visited Oklahoma City from Kansas over Labor Day weekend. And they did something so smart—booked a professional family photo session while on vacation.

Pro tip: vacation mode = relaxed smiles + schedules already lined up. A perfect time to schedule some family photos!

This session was extra special. It included grandparents, their children, and grandchildren. Truly three generations of love in one frame! They were one of the kindest, friendliest families I’ve ever worked with. Even though their little guy kept us all moving, we captured the most sweet (and real!) moments that truly show their special relationships. These are the memories that will last for years.

The Boathouse District was a great backdrop for the session. The unique architecture, wide open spaces, and pops of modern design gave their gallery a fresh look. I also love that you can see the downtown OKC skyline in the background of some shots. Definitely an iconic location. If you’re looking for something different than a park, this would be a great location choice for your next family photo session in Oklahoma City.

The sunshine was perfect, the laughter was easy, and the Wilsons left with photos that truly show their close relationships. I’m so happy they chose me as their OKC family photographer to capture this time together!
