My name is Cheryl Jackson, and I live with my family in San Diego, California. When I graduated from San Diego State University, I worked in the Alpine Union School District as an elementary school teacher. I enjoyed working with my first graders until I had my own two girls, and now my days are spent volunteering in classrooms and around the community, shuttling my munchkins around town, scrapbooking (when I can!) and following my passion - photography.

I have loved photography ever since I can remember, and now that I'm in the digital age I can leave my make-shift darkroom behind and give my clients more immediate results. I specialize in portraits, but I've also taken photos of company events, meetings, fundraisers and even product shots for websites. My greatest joy is taking photos of children of all ages - they change in the blink of an eye, and having the chance to capture that beauty and innocence is something that gives me a great deal of pleasure. It is the perfect merge of my greatest interests - working with kids and taking meaningful photos!
